The other day I learned about the health benefits of sex, of which there are many. Some of them involve lowering your cholesterol, lowing the risk of prostate cancer in men, helping keep depression away, and reducing the chances of getting a cold. Now there are some caveats, which include the sex being consensual, positive, and usually with a primary partner. Random one-night stands negate the helpfulness of sex in warding off depression and can actually increase it.
Also for people who use having a headache and being sick as excuses for not having sex, that is no longer legitimate. Sex, again with a steady, positive partner, can help get rid of a headache and will help you fall asleep. So next time instead of grabbing a Tylenol (Panadol for you Australians) grab some sex instead!
